Role Description

In this role you will be leading thumbnail strategy, creating innovative thumbnail ideas and collaborating with the best designers in the world to bring your ideas fully to life.

We’re looking for someone obsessed with youtube, fascinated by thumbnail psychology, and driven to be the best in their field.

Over the last decade, we have created some of the most viral and industry leading thumbnails on the platform, averaging 55M views per longform video (without dubbing lol).

Responsibilities

Take video titles (in the IRL niche) and turn them into exciting and innovative thumbnails
Research YouTube and other platforms for inspiration
Create thumbnail mockups (with original photography and/or online assets) that perfectly capture your ideas
Choose the 2-3 mockups you’re going to finish
Collaborate with best-in-class designers to bring your thumbnails to completion
Constantly improve your knowledge of YouTube, the audience, thumbnail psychology and thumbnail strategy

Requirements

Experience creating thumbnail ideas, sketches and mockups (in the IRL niche)
Experience using Photoshop to bring ideas to life
Obsessed with YouTube, user behavior, thumbnail psychology and thumbnail strategy
Ability and desire to grow into a leadership position
Ability to see patterns in the data and make data informed decisions
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Full of creative and innovative ideas
Strong work ethic and desire to be the best in the world at your craft
Drawing/painting experience is a plus!
