Job Title: Backend Engineer

In this role, you will play a vital part in designing and implementing robust backend solutions, ensuring our gaming projects are developed, tested, and deployed seamlessly. Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend services and APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and best practices into the development process.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of our cloud-based production systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot issues in our dev, test, and production environments.
Continuously evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in backend software development
Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js and Django.
Proficiency working with TypeScript, Javascript, and or Python.
Cloud experience, in particular AWS experience - EC2, Lambdas, Dynamo. Redshift
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS.
Knowledge of networking principles and security best practices.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with C# a plus.
Experience with ETL pipelines a plus.
C/C++ experience a plus.
Experience with Unity or another game engine is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
