WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Senior AP Specialist

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior AP Specialist to join our FirstElement Fuel Team as we grow our operational needs. The right candidate for the role will work effectively under pressure, execute on deliverables to meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

The Senior AP Specialist is responsible for full cycle Accounts Payable duties including but not limited to:

Process Accounts Payable invoices, documenting transaction details
Compliance management with lien waivers, insurance certificates
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain accounting email Dropbox
Prepare weekly check run files
Bookkeeping and general accounting
Receiving and recording vouchers, cash, and checks
Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
Ad-Hoc Duties as assigned SCHEDULE + BENEFITS:
Travel time: It is anticipated that 0% of the work time will be spent in the field (primarily in California)
Excellent Benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) Plan with 6% employer match, Life insurance, PTO, committed work environment. The base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 to $75,000 + benefits (DOE). Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work locations and additional factors, including job-related skill, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the base salary only and do not include any bonus or benefits. Requirements

DESIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years related experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Detail Oriented
Proficient with ERP systems, including Microsoft Office
Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
Time management and organization skills.
Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
Ability to work with multiple personalities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
