The company's services include construction management, Excess Soil Planning Documents, (APUs, SAPs, SCRs, ESDARs), Environmental Compliance Approvals (ECAs), site alteration permits and soil recycling technologies.

Role Description

This is a full time position for an experienced Project Manager at XS Soil Solutions. The Project Manager will be responsible for project management tasks related to excess soil management projects across Southern Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and manage clients and projects relating to O.Reg 406/19, Excess Soils including; Assessment of Past uses, Sample Analysis Plans, Soil Characterization Reports, Excess Soil Destination Assessment Reports.
Managing client expectations from proposal to completion
Reviewing Report from project sites to support Reuse Site Approvals.
Technical writing and peer review of Excess Soil planning documents.
Facilitation and coordination of field staff and sub contractors.
Assisting with Tender / proposal submissions.
Provide regulatory guidance and oversight of activities under Ontario regulations (O. Reg 153/04 and O.Reg 406/19
Provide peer review of technical reports and lab analyses
Prepare work plans, proposals, change orders, memos and technical reports for various stages of the project

Qualifications

3-5 years of environmental consulting experience with a focus on O.Reg 406/19, Excess Soils
Experience with Environmental Site Assessments (O.Reg 153/04) is not required but considered an asset.
Project Management expertise
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Relevant certification or training in project management
