Outlaw Partners, an award-winning marketing, media, and events company based in Big Sky, Montana, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mid-Level Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This role focuses on graphic design with an emphasis on print and digital work, including newspaper and magazine production. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is highly preferred, and additional experience with web, digital, and UX/UI design is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Print Design: Lead the design and layout of print materials, with a focus on newspaper and magazine production. Work on editorial layouts, advertisements, and promotional materials, ensuring they are visually appealing and align with brand standards.
Digital Design: Create engaging digital assets such as social media graphics, email templates, banners, and web ads.
Branding: Develop and maintain consistent visual identities for various brands, ensuring all materials reflect the brand voice and guidelines.
Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand project goals, propose creative solutions, and deliver high-quality designs within deadlines.
Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with the latest design trends, particularly in the print industry, to continually elevate the design output.

Desired Skills:

Newspaper and Magazine Production: Experience designing for print publications is strongly preferred. Expertise in layout, typography, and working with tight production deadlines is essential.
Adobe InDesign: Proficiency in InDesign is required, as it is the primary tool for creating layouts for newspapers and magazines. Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) are also necessary.
Web and Digital Knowledge (Bonus): Experience or interest in web design, including familiarity with platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or email marketing tools such as Klaviyo, is a plus.
UX/UI Skills (Bonus): Any experience with UX/UI design, wireframing, or prototyping to improve user experiences across digital platforms is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a focus on print and digital projects. Experience in newspaper or magazine production is highly preferred.
Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Adobe InDesign and the broader Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or similar tools is a bonus.
Creativity & Attention to Detail: A strong portfolio showcasing work across print and digital media, particularly in publication design.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet tight production deadlines.

Additional Responsibilities:

Internal Collaboration: Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and take part in the design process from concept to final production.

Salary: Based on experience.

Location: Big Sky, MT or Bozeman, MT preferred. Partial remote work opportunity available.
