We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to manage and support their diverse IT infrastructure. This role involves a mix of responsibilities, including troubleshooting and backend support, with a focus on both Apple and Windows products. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling a variety of tasks and will thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Heavy troubleshooting on PCs and Macs
Managing Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Office 365
Maintaining AWS and Windows-based servers
Working with Cisco switches and Palo Alto firewalls
Ensuring security with tools like Microsoft Authenticator
Troubleshooting emails on end-user devices
Configuring Active Directory and performing server patching
Collaborating with the development team
Engaging in all aspects of IT support, from hooking up consoles to testing wireless connections

What You Will Do in This Role:

SharePoint Migration: Work on the migration of our on-site file server in San Clemente to the cloud, ensuring a seamless transition by the year-end deadline.
Cloud-Based VPN Solution: Manage and maintain our cloud-based VPN solution using Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring secure access for users worldwide.
Disaster Recovery Site: Assist in building a new disaster recovery site on the East Coast, focusing on data replication between AWS servers.
User Education: Facilitate the potential transition from Slack to Teams, providing user education and support.
Daily IT Operations: Perform daily IT operations, including troubleshooting, server maintenance, and network infrastructure management.

Qualifications:

5-10 years of experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of Apple and Windows products
Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Office 365, AWS, and Windows-based servers
Familiarity with Cisco switches, Palo Alto firewalls
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to think on your feet.
Flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving
