Document Controller

B A Joinery is a specialist joinery manufacturing company, established in 2008 and located in a 40,000 sq ft premises at Purvis Building, Leeholme Road, Billingham, TS23 3TA. We offer a full fit-out service to our clients, including design, manufacture, and installation. With a strong reputation built on traditional values of craftsmanship, we are committed to maintaining high standards in quality, safety, and environmental performance. We have an exciting opportunity for a Document Controller to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with prior administrative or construction experience, looking to develop their career in the joinery and manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and controlling project documentation, including maintaining and updating document registers.
Preparing and organizing Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
Assisting with the collation and submission of Health & Safety documentation.
Handling Environmental and Social Value data returns.
Assisting with company branding efforts and maintaining an organized library of photos and testimonials from completed projects.
Updating and managing content for the company website and social media platforms (LinkedIn).
Supporting the quality assurance process by maintaining document version control and ensuring compliance with ISO standards.

Experience (desirable):

Experience in a similar document controller or administrative role, particularly within the joinery or construction industries, is advantageous.
Familiarity with ISO management systems is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively.

This is a full-time, office-based role with occasional travel to project sites as needed.

Salary: £24,000 per year
