Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Report to management on payroll issues and changes
· Stay up-to-date on state and federal payroll and tax laws
· Ensure accurate & timely payroll, including base pay, payroll taxes, 401(k), statutory and supplemental benefits, etc.
· Assist with month end close process including preparation of accruals, and reconciliations
· Answer employees’ questions about salaries and tax
· Process weekly multi-state payroll for US non-exempt and exempt employees
· Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records
· Process weekly certified payroll for prevailing wage jobs
Qualifications:
· An ability to use core business systems
· Strong control mindset (control, project, reg experience a plus)
Computer Skills:
· Sage 300 CRE/Timberline
· Microsoft Productivity Applications

· Sitting for long periods of time.
Education and Experience:
· Three+ years of accounting and finance management experience in manufacturing or construction
· Certified Payroll
· Accounting degree or equivalent
