Title- Sr. Director - Technical Delivery(hybrid)
Location: Orange County, CA (need local) 1 day onsite in a week rest remote.

Purpose Of Position
Reporting directly to the Vice President of IT, the Sr. Director - Technical
Delivery is responsible for driving the day-to-day tactical activities related to the
planning, execution, and completion of the core technology replacement
initiative. While this position has no direct reports, leading by influence is a
critical factor in the program’s success; the successful candidate will be able to
demonstrate deep experience working in an enterprise matrixed environment.
Essential Functions
Provides technical leadership and direction to ensure delivery of core
technology replacement, a business transformation and legacy system
replacement and data migration initiative, in a timely manner, within budget
and at a high level of functional quality.
Assists in the definition and oversees the execution of technology strategy.
Reviews Business Requirements Documents as developed by Program
Management Department and drives the creation of Level of Effort
estimates.
Facilitates controlled change, strategizing with cross functional team leaders
to identify issues and risks, quantification, and resolution. Must be able to
track and manage multiple priorities of software development and
maintenance tasks in a matrix management environment.
Drives and maintains clear, proactive verbal and written communication
with program leadership, including ensuring the creation and dissemination
of meeting notes, decisions made, status updates, etc.

Abilities Required
Required Skills
Proven track record of driving the successful completion of enterprise-wide
application and data migration/modernization projects and programs which
meet strategic objectives while minimizing negative operational and
business impact.
Proven ability to build relationships and to influence individuals at all levels
of a highly matrixed organization.
Recent experience leading both on-shore and off-shore SaaS, outsource, and
managed services providers/partners.
Preferred Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with Azure Dev Ops/Team Foundation Server
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Tech Stack (Office, Project, Visio,
Visual Studio, SQL, Azure, etc.)
Recent hands-on leadership of database management, ETL, and data
migration.
Non-technical Skills
Recent hands-on experience facilitating communication, and cross-departmental interaction.
Must be able to speak, read and write in English and be able to communicate
with all levels of employees and partners.
Experience leading in a matrixed environment including interfacing with
executives.
Educational Requirements
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience required.
10-12 years of leadership experience showing progressive skill and career
growth.
Recent experience with strategic planning and tactical and operational
execution.
Health Industry experience is a plus.
