Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth for Marqo's vector search technology.
- Lead product marketing efforts, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies to effectively communicate the value proposition to developers and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the product team to understand the technology and its applications, and translate technical features into compelling benefits for the target audience.
- Drive demand generation initiatives, including content marketing, events, and partnerships to generate leads and drive customer acquisition.
- Work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Monitor and analyze key metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, and use insights to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in marketing roles, including experience leading product marketing for an organisation.
- Experience leading product marketing for developer audiences.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive user acquisition and revenue growth.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex technologies and communicate their value proposition effectively.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to make informed decisions and drive results.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and taking initiative in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
