As a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Analytics Research Institute, you will play a pivotal role in advancing cutting-edge research in the field of the science of science. Duties
- Research, develop, and implement innovative methods for modeling and visualizing data across fields such as science, technology, biomedicine, education, and public policy.
- Conduct original research on the science of science employing techniques that include NLP, machine learning, data mining, and predictive analytics.
- Lead manuscript preparation for publication.
- Publish research findings in open access journals and present at conferences and workshops.
- Collaborate with industry and academic partners to apply research outcomes to real-world problems.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to their professional development.
- Participate in grant application writing.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, economics, physics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of analytics, such as machine learning, data mining, or optimization.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Proficiency in working with large datasets and employing relevant tools and techniques for analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of publishing in reputable academic venues.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Desired Skills
