About the Role:
Traded is seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Content Strategist to join our team and lead the development of engaging content across our @tradedla social pages (Instagram, X, LinkedIn). The ideal candidate will source relevant real estate news, find the best deals to post, create engaging content, and explore new content opportunities to keep our audience engaged and growing. This role requires a self-starter who can generate original ideas, understands social media trends, and can execute content creation from start to finish while collaborating with industry content creators.
Job Responsibilities:
- Source relevant real estate news and content (for LA market)
- Create engaging and compelling content that resonates with our audience
- Implement strategies to engage with and grow our community, ensuring an integrated approach across channels
- Identify relevant brands, creators, real estate professionals, and industry experts; develop sponsored content in collaboration from planning to execution
- Be adaptable and able to create content on the spot to capitalize on real-time opportunities
- Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent posting schedules
- Community management; manage customer interactions with strict response timing
- Track and analyze performance metrics, providing insights to optimize content strategies
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, best-in-class practices, platform rules, and competitor activity across all digital platforms
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience as a Content Strategist, Social Media Manager or comparable role
- Based in Los Angeles
- Strong understanding of the real estate industry (primarily LA market)
- Exceptional creativity and ability to think outside the box
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Previously or currently a real estate agent is a plus
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products including Photoshop, InDesign, etc. is a plus
- Knowledge of video editing programs such as Premier Pro, Premiere Rush, Final Cut Pro, etc. is a plus
- Proficient in social media analytics tools
- Familiarity with Instagram trends and algorithms
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; possess a sense of urgency and initiative
