Job Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
-Maintain and update financial records using ADP.
Process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
-Manage accounts payable and receivable.
-Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
-Prepare financial reports and statements as needed.
-Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
-Monitor and report on financial discrepancies.
-Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and categorized accurately.
ADP Software Management:
- Utilize ADP software to manage payroll processing efficiently.
- Ensure accurate data entry for employee information and payroll records.
- Generate payroll reports and analyze payroll data for accuracy.
- Assist with ADP software troubleshooting and technical support as needed.
Human Resources:
- Onboard new employees, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and processed.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and secure.
- Assist with employee benefit administration and enrollment.
- Manage employee training stipends.
- Assist with performance appraisal processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Bookkeeper, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software, particularly ADP.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and tax regulations.
- Experience in HR tasks and familiarity with HR software and databases.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Certification in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Previous experience in a remote work environment.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
