As an RPIE Specialist/Quality Control Assessor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of equipment data in our healthcare facilities. You'll be responsible for conducting thorough inventories of building systems like HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
This role involves working with as-built plans to verify equipment details, and then meticulously entering that information into our designated software. Your quality control skills will be essential in ensuring the data is accurate and up-to-date.

Role and Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Adhere to Real Property Systems Standards (RPSS) for accurate labeling and tracking of equipment.
- Conduct comprehensive RPIE inventories, capturing details of all systems within healthcare facilities, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire alarm devices used in preventive maintenance programs.
- Input captured RPIE data into designated software and upload it to the client's system.
Quality Control and Compliance:
- Ensure all operations, maintenance, and repairs in medical treatment facilities comply with relevant codes, standards, directives, and established criteria.
- Review as-built plans to verify and identify existing equipment within the inventory.
- Possess a strong understanding of various medical facility equipment for accurate assessment and validation.
Site Management and Communication:
- Conduct site surveys to inspect, review, and validate listed equipment.
- Collaborate with facility personnel for equipment updates, additions, or modifications.
Reporting and Travel:
- Prepare and deliver weekly project status updates to keep stakeholders informed.
- Coordinate travel arrangements with the Program Manager for each site visit.
- Submit After Action Reports and Corrective Action Plans as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Be prepared to undertake other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in a computer-based or similar equipment inventory or data entry position
- Position will travel 50% of the time
- Analytical thinking/critical thinking skills are imperative
- A team-player mentality and demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Minimum of two years experience using Microsoft Office products with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Must be able to demonstrate effective decision-making abilities
- Possess the ability to analyze information, interpret results and problem-solve
- Customer service oriented
- The ability to work confidently in a results-oriented environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Healthcare Facility Management, Military Treatment Facility (MTF) Operations & Maintenance Procedures
- At least 3 years of technical experience with Real Property Systems; Mechanical, Structural, Fire Protection, and Electrical preferred. Less experience will be considered
- Knowledge of codes and standards related to the operation, maintenance, and repair of Medical Treatment Facilities
- Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and other safety rules/regulations pertaining to maintenance procedures
- DMLSS experience preferred. Ability to learn DMLSS required
- Ability to read and understand floor plans is preferred
