Position Summary:

Reporting to the ERP Implementation Manager, the Data Analyst will be responsible for using their knowledge of data processing software and business development strategies to create and maintain business reporting, inquiries, and dashboards. Their duties include interacting with business units to maintain data entry standards, collaborate with other data professionals to extract data figures, create reports based on their findings, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine business initiatives’ success.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Exhibit LDJ’s core values and culture in all aspects of the job.
- Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
- Remove corrupted data and fix coding Address data scripting errors and related problems.
- Develop and maintain databases, data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format.
- Perform analysis to assess quality and meaning of data.
- Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems.
- Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction.
- Assign numerical values to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.
- Analyze local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry.
- Prepare reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Work with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
- Prepare final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (SSRS, Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL Developer etc.).
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Proven working experience in data analysis.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Data Analytics Statistics; or two-three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- SQL Scripting, required.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook) with emphasis on Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with an ERP system (Acumatica is a +) in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Must be comfortable collaborating with various departments such as Sales, Warehouse, Production, Planning, and Procurement.
- Power BI experienced preferred.

Travel:
This position requires minimal travel, but it is preferred to have the ability to travel up to 5% of the time with a valid driver’s license.
