This is a commission-based remote role for a Business Development Manager at ABCHESS. This candidate will lead initiatives to engage with as many school (or school district) representatives as possible to present and offer ABCHESS program.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and self-driven business developer with solid experience and large network in K-12 education (scholastic) industry.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to education leaders and decision makers (principals, superintendents, program managers) to pitch and offer ABCHESS services.
- Identify partnership opportunities with educational institutions.
- Follow ABCHESS guidelines and meet KPIs.
- Provide support through the integration phase and trial period.
- Ensure successful delivery of the services.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior industry related business development experience.
- Familiarity with the chess industry and community is a plus.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
