ENTRY LEVEL JUNIOR ASSOCIATE/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Gould & Pakter Associates, LLC (“G&P”), a CPA firm, is seeking a part-time or full-time, fully hybrid/remote entry level or semi-experienced, Junior Associate/Administrative Assistant to assist Senior Associates with document management, data entry, Microsoft Word/Excel tasks, expert report and footnote proofreading, communication with clients, and similar tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
· Creating document indexes, managing document requests, and uploading and organizing documents on the computer network, DropBox, and Citrix Share Files
· Data entry and basic analysis of Microsoft Word/Excel tasks to support projects in process managed by Partners, Principals, Managers, and Senior Associates
· Communicating with Partners, Principals, Managers, and Senior Associates and clients to facilitate information exchange, follow up, and document requests
· Report proofreading and pre-issue review, including footnotes and references to documents in computer network
· Supporting team members with paraprofessional/paralegal type tasks including preparing reports and schedules, research, administrative tasks, and specific assigned projects
Preferred Qualifications
· College degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or similar.
· Paraprofessional or paralegal training preferred.
· Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills
· Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to follow directions and produce accurate work – attention to detail
· Basic knowledge of accounting, finance, or business administration
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to work effectively in a fully hybrid/virtual/remote environment (must have own computer, printer, and scanner … if not, assistance will be provided to obtain these items)
· 1 – 4 years of similar experience preferred.

· Provides financial forensics, commercial litigation services, internal investigations, and financial analysis of disputes
· Calculates economic damages, lost profits/earnings, business interruption claims, and earn-outs
· Values closely held businesses for shareholder litigation, family law services, bankruptcy and business litigation, and estate and gift tax compliance
· Traces undisclosed assets, analyzes financial transactions/balances, determines sources of funds used to acquire assets, and reconstructs falsified/incomplete financial information
· Maintains membership in the Private Companies Practice Section and the Forensic and Valuation Services Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
