Our work has been supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies, and we’ve worked with over a dozen leading employers including Bank of America, Advocate Health, Duke Energy, Coca-Cola Consolidated, and Ally. We’ve been testing our model in the Southeast, and are planning to expand nationally with support from leading funders and partners in the space.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced data professional to lead our analytics work and help to build out our data operation. As an early team member, you’ll play a key role in helping Radius grow into a market leader in predictive workforce analytics.
As our Workforce Analytics Manager you’ll lead the analysis of talent supply and demand for our clients and partners.
Example projects might include:
- Working with one of the nation’s top hospital systems to predict future talent demand and analyze potential gaps in supply
- Working with an energy utility to predict their future talent demand needs based on their ten-year capital expenditure plan and other key factors
- Working with a collaborative of healthcare employers to analyze the potential nursing shortage across the state of North Carolina
This position has strong growth potential as you’ll be working directly with our executive team and partners to guide our data work. As you grow with Radius, you’ll play a leading role in helping major employers across the U.S. to shape tomorrow's workforce.
Responsibilities may include:
- Guide development of advanced models for forecasting talent supply and demand with employers.
- Lead the architecture of Radius data models.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of talent needs and gaps for clients and partners.
- Support aggregation and curation of data needed to complete supply and demand analysis.
- Guide data partnerships with employers and other iprospective data partners.
- Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes for ingesting and integrating data from multiple sources.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance data collection methodologies, improve data quality, and innovate analytical processes.
- Derive meaningful conclusions from complex datasets.
- Guide data analysts towards contributing to the successful completion of client projects.
Skills, abilities, and attributes we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science or a related quantitative field.
- 5-7 years of experience in a data-focused role.
- Expertise in data science and predictive modeling preferred.
- Experience in labor economics or workforce analytics is a plus.
- Familiarity with HR Information Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems, and other employer data systems is a plus.
- HR Data and ETL pipeline development experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, etc.
- Strong communication skills to effectively guide data partnerships with diverse clients.
