We're looking for a media planner for one of our client's accounts to help manage buying planning and execution across all channels, with a primary focus on social media and digital.
This role requires big-picture thinking, organizational skills and adaptability. We are looking for a passionate individual who will eat, sleep and breathe the brands we work with. This person must enthusiastically collaborate with different sectors to develop digital solutions and execute social media tactics, and be able to sell propositions with enthusiasm and compelling logic.
Extensive experience with digital and social media tactics is required, and knowledge of traditional media channels is required.
Responsibility:
Work closely with communications supervisor to develop customized communications plans and assist in writing and presenting campaign/media proposals.
Support the team in managing content creation timelines for deliverables and communication processes, providing insights and key lessons learned from analysis, market knowledge, Additional research and collaboration with internal teams.
Help lead RFPs and negotiations to ensure proposed tactics, partners, and programs meet client business objectives.
Manage high volumes of weekly social buying optimization and fulfillment activities with high levels of accuracy and autonomy for local market efforts.
Regularly report on campaign metrics and recommend media optimization, tactics, and targeting.
Create, analyze and present campaign summary reports to clients based on the appropriate set of KPIs and show how the results will impact future strategic decisions.
Manage supplier relationships and stay up to date with the latest communications innovations.
Closely monitor media investments and adjust monthly payments.
Research brand portfolio trends, competitive landscape developments and consumer behavior relevant to our clients. Identify new audiences, channels and engagement opportunities for our brand.
Collaborate with customer marketing members to align efforts in advertising, public relations, internal communications, brand management, product development, SEO/SEM marketing, data analytics and web and mobile content strategy to ensure collaborative, successful and effective digital and social marketing.
Maintain a system to organize accurate communication diagrams, budgets and payment details, as well as other partner and supplier information.
Salary:
2800 to 3500 USD per month (commission depends on campaign)
Request:
2 years of experience in media planning including social and digital strategies, shaping brands' online presence through market knowledge and consumer insights users, creating comprehensive, impactful programs that support overall marketing initiatives and enhance the consumer experience.
Understanding of social media functionality, advertising opportunities, and optimization methods from a business perspective on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube.
A passion for detail and consistent accuracy with all deliverables is a must.
Experience tracking annual and/or monthly budgets, ensuring spending is both efficient and effective.
Passionate about new/emerging media technologies and the ability to interact strategically and tactically across platforms.
Strong writing skills and the ability to craft your ideas and messages to fit any medium.
Good analytical, reporting and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and planning skills.
