Analytica Consulting is a data analytics consulting firm that has rapidly grown to become an industry leader supporting some of the largest Fortune 500 organizations and California State agencies.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we were the primary firm supporting the State of California's COVID-19 data task force. Our other clients include California Dept of Public Health, California Office of Data and Innovation, Illumina, Pfizer, Becton Dickinson, University of California, and California Dept of Technology.

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in working with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure or similar technologies. This is a remote position, however we prefer the candidate to be located in California. There will be opportunities to meet colleagues in person for communication and mentorship if desired.

What You'll Do

Identify business trends and problems through complex data analysis
Interpret results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining
Design, develop, and implement the most valuable analytics solutions for our clients
Design data models and develop databases to support business solutions
Manage client relationships and requirements

Your Background:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering required
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Data Science or Business Analytics preferable
3-5 years of related data analytics work experience
3-5 years of consulting experience
Expertise and/or certification in some or all of the following technologies: Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau, Microsoft BI (SSIS/SSAS, SQL Server, PowerBI)
Programming expertise in some or all of the following languages: SQL, C#, Java, SQL, R, Python
Excellent communication skills
Must be a U.S Citizen or Permanent Resident
