The McBride Sisters Collection brands are sold in national grocery stores, mass retailers, hotels and restaurants, across the United States, Caribbean, and Canada.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Customer Service Lead at McBride Sisters Wine Company.
- Works closely with 50 wholesalers and Control States representatives to ensure orders are processed correctly and shipped in the most timely fashion
- Collaborates with winery operations, compliance, brokers, and suppliers to support logistics of wine transportation and acts as a main point of contact for all domestic and international freight requests and issues.
- Researches and implements ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
- Works closely with FG warehouses across the country to ensure adequate supply is available for upcoming orders
- Manages import logistics with suppliers and freight forwarders to include a forecast for product readiness, container reservation, and vessel bookings; provides reports to communicate all transportation information and documentation required to clear customs and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates with Sales and DTC teams to review current inventory and forecasted demand to determine need for product allocations.
- Leads sourcing logistics communications with winemaking and operations to review in transit bulk wine, logistics issues, position of incoming in bond or tax paid status and update of import market and long-term challenges.
- E-Files and tracks all import documentation. Sends quarterly import reports to compliance team for required Federal and state filing.
- Responds to and resolves any issues or complaints.
- Finds and evaluates options for first (last) mile pick up services in major U.S. cities.
- Updates and evaluates metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
- Ensures all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and requirements.
- Responsible for reconciliation and endorsement of billing for supplied bulk wine freight, freight forwarding, surcharges, broker fees, and customs related costs.
