Full Job Description
- WillowTrust Accounting is a small but fast-growing accounting firm looking for a part-time bookkeeper and administrative assistant. The right candidate for this position will have recent, relevant QuickBooks Online experience. Applicant must be self-motivated, detail orientated and able to complete tasks quickly and efficiently. This position is somewhat seasonal and hours will increase near tax deadline in the Spring and Fall and decreasing outside of it. The right candidate could transition to a full-time position. While the schedule is flexible, it is crucial that deadlines are met.

Responsibilities
- Process payroll in QuickBooks weekly, including live and after-the-fact payroll
- Prioritize workload while managing concurrent projects
- Review client books, prepare invoices and client deliverables
- Enter and maintain client data in various systems
- Communicate with clients to set appointments and obtain outstanding documents
- Handle special projects as assigned
- Generate reports with client financials for company leaders. Acquire additional supporting documentation from client if necessary.
Skills
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles (GAAP)
- Strong research skills, utilizing government, company and client information
- Reliable and trustworthy with a high degree of integrity and understanding of confidentiality
- Strong data entry skills with a knack for numbers
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Detailed knowledge of QuickBooks Online, with the ability to set up new businesses and related payroll
- Flexibility and adaptability to adjust schedule based on client needs
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Capability to follow up and follow through on tasks
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
