The HomeMore Project is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization based in San Francisco, California, which focuses on providing innovative and unique solutions to the ongoing crisis of homelessness. At HomeMore, we are looking for creative and determined minds who have a passion for assisting in the development of struggling communities. Job Description:
- Stipend Communications Internship
- Create news releases, blogs, news stories, etc.
- Create, edit, and revise content
- Create a monthly calendar planning out content
- Create an outline for your proposed blog posts to get approval
- Weekly meetings with supervisor
Job Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with APA style
- Availability to work 5-10 hours per week
- Independent thinker, creative, organized
- Has past experience editing and writing content
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Word/Google Docs
- Experience with Excel/Google Sheets
- Preferable University Majors: Journalism, Public Relations, Mass Communications, English
- Preferable Location would be in the Bay Area, although we are open for remote interns as well
- Completed College Level Communications Course(s)
- Strong Presentation and Communication Skills
- Strong Organizational Skills, primarily including Time Management and Prioritization
- Flexible Schedule
