Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editing Ninja to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating ads for e-commerce, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for storytelling. You will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging videos for our social media campaigns, primarily focusing on platforms like Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce attention-grabbing, TikTok-ready videos using emotional storytelling, influencer videos, customer testimonials, and in-house content.
- Collaborate with the creative director to develop video concepts that align with our content strategy and brand voice.
- Understand the ‘organic look’ to gain the viewer's trust and encourage engagement.
- Incorporate cute dogs, heart-wrenching voiceovers, and user-generated content (UGC) product footage into compelling ad videos.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in video editing and social media advertising.
- Be able to work independently but also communicate with the team to align on the vision.
- Meet deadlines, and be open to feedback and revisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in creating ads for e-commerce, with a portfolio showcasing your previous work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to evoke emotion and drive action through video.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Knowledge of dog-related content and a passion for dogs.
- Familiarity with media buying strategies and best practices on Meta.
