Position offers a base salary of $40,000-$50,000/ year based on experience, plus a generous Sales Incentive Plan!

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position directly effects Sales through consistent and timely coordination of events, provider group visitations, community relationship development. Role is responsible for tracking assigned events, coordinating with vendor partners, following progress and outcome of events, supporting internal and external agents and sales leadership as needed, managing department budgets and expenses pertaining to sales events and sales related marketing expenses. Supporting sales department at large. Candidate must hold a 240 or 215 Health License with the state of Fl (required to earn commissions for sales support).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works directly with sales channel segment as assigned by Director. Including but not limited to: Corporate events, Members and Provider focused events as appropriate and in alignment with CMS standards and regulations.
- Event Coordination planning and oversight of all sales and educational events, community functions, organizational alignment with key partners in the respective community and market region, in communication with Sales Director and Sales Team.
- Coordinates with various vendor partners to ensure event execution is compliant.
- Development and maintenance of event orders (in collaboration with fulfillment team) and promotional/collateral materials within approved guidelines to support sales department.
- Submit requisitions, process invoices for vendors monthly as well as internal associate expenses related to the marketing and support of our business.
- Creates weekly and monthly sales reports and maintains overall department budget and expenses pertaining to area of responsibility, maintain industry competitor knowledge, and produces ad hoc reports as requested by Sales Director.
- Develops, negotiates, and establishes new business opportunities and relationships within different market segments via telephone and outside sales appointments.
- Participation in local networking events.
- Provides back-up support to other Sales Managers and Sales team as needed.
- Knowledge of CMS Marketing Guidelines and ensuring adherence to such guidelines at all events and or functions.
- Maintain active 240/215 health license in good standing as required by health plan policies related to role (required to earn commissions for sales support).

- High school graduate or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Events experience
- Healthcare – Medicare experience a must
- Valid drivers license
- Reliable transportation
- Must be goal and result driven (ability to meet quotas)

- Data entry Skills
- Flexible schedule in order to meet with events during non-business hours
- Excellent computer knowledge is required, including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be patient in dealing with an elderly population and sympathetic to hearing or vision deficiencies
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations
