Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule ASL interpretation for various clients.
Recruit, train, and manage a team of skilled ASL interpreters.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to ASL services.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide customized solutions.
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
Develop and implement community outreach programs to promote ASL services.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in ASL and Deaf culture.
Provide support and resources to clients and interpreters, including troubleshooting and conflict resolution.
Assist in the development of marketing materials and strategies to promote ASL services.
Assist in Interpreting in various settings

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies, Interpretation, or a related field.
Certified ASL Interpreter (RID, NIC, or equivalent).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in ASL coordination or a similar role.
Fluency in American Sign Language.
Strong understanding of Deaf culture and the needs of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
