Manager, Paid Social is a hybrid position based in New York or Los Angeles. You will be responsible for ensuring the strategic execution and success of editorial, organic, sponsored, and branded social content campaigns to hit specified KPIs (impressions, views, engagement, etc).
Collaboration is at the core of this role as you will work closely with pre and post-sales teams including partnerships, social, account management, research, and leadership.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and implement paid social strategies to support both content campaigns and growth/acquisition initiatives
- Run and manage the strategy and spend against the distribution and amplification efforts of our social content campaigns for both organic social and all social campaigns for our brand clients and partnership team
- Identify social content trends and optimize paid campaigns
- Own and report on paid social analytics and content & performance insights for any paid editorial, organic, sponsored or branded content
- Act as social campaign manager for all sponsored social content with FQ’s key brand clients and partners
- Oversee campaign and platform budget, and weekly and monthly pacing
- Support ongoing creative, tactical and audience testing
- Stay up to date & recommend new paid social strategies, products and formats
- Develop and foster relationships with platform teams
- Manage platform specific measurement studies
- Proactively diagnose paid social challenges and come up with solutions
- Participate on client-facing calls and email threads when necessary
- Optimize paid social budgets to find savings on internal and external CPMs/CPVs with the different social platforms
Skills Required:
- 1-3 years of paid social experience, with specific experience within Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
- Deep knowledge of digital-first content products and social distribution strategies
- Experience and comfort with being external facing from a partnerships perspective
- Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment, be very collaborative, and manage multiple people, deadlines, and partnerships.
- Strong understanding of client KPIs, and ability to strategically align The FQ’s products with core KPIs in order to achieve success.
- Comprehension & fluency in platform specific measurement studies and abilities.
- Fluency in digital media language across all mediums: impressions, CTR, CPM, eCPM, CPV, vCPM, FVR, VVR, etc.
- Extreme attention to detail.
