Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manager to join our team. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects related to 12-volt electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Applicants must have Managing experience with large groups of people.
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and overseeing 12-volt electrical projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met within established timelines and budget constraints.
- Assist in the preparation of project plans, and schedules.
- Support client communications and maintain positive relationships by providing regular updates on project status and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the project management workflow.
- Must be comfortable with being on the phone for long periods.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a management role.
- Knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems and components is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
