Job Purpose
The Service Coordinator is an administrative support role responsible for maintaining Scription’s repair & maintenance programs for kitchen equipment and HVAC units in the commercial foodservice industry. The Service Coordinator will be processing claims made by our Service Partners for work performed under our subscription maintenance agreements. Additionally, they will be assigning jobs to our Service Partners and monitoring until completion. The successful Service Coordinator will be a detail-oriented administrator who thrives in a dynamic service environment, where ensuring equipment uptime and customer satisfaction is the primary objective.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Service Coordinator’s overall responsibilities include the following:
● Entering & Validating SMA (Subscription Maintenance Agreement) Claim Details
● Processing SMA Claims (Payables)
● Manage Customer/Service Partner Support Requests (email, phone, chat)
● Investigating Claim Disputes & Recommending Resolutions
● Receive SMA Service Requests & Assign to Service Partners
● Coordinate & Maintain SMA Jobs until Completion by Service Partners
● PM scheduling/updating/monitoring
● Performing other related duties as required
Qualifications
● 5 years of experience in a customer service administrative role, ideally in equipment service and supply
● Experience in the restaurant industry is an asset
● Experience with franchisees is an asset
● Warranty, Dispatch, or Invoicing experience is an asset
● A university degree or college/trade school diploma is an asset
● A high school diploma or equivalent is required
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software
● Experience with accounting software and processes
● Knowledge of SAAS, FSM, CMMS software is an asset
