We are seeking a process-oriented, dependable person who prides themselves on their attention to detail. The Operations Administrator thrives in an environment where they can independently learn and problem solve to complete, manage, and create various operational processes. They are a key member of our Operations team who executes tasks that support the day-to-day operations of our business.
What We Expect from You
You will be responsible for reliably and consistently executing, owning, and updating our operational processes. One day your role may include analyzing our safety scores to identify key themes to bring to our Director of Driver Operations & Safety, the next day you could be updating our current processes to ensure our Department of Transportation (DOT) records are consistently compliant with local and federal regulations, and the following week you could be creating a solution to streamline our documentation for driver coaching conversations.
The majority of your work will be focused on supporting the Operations team, which includes our drivers, routing, and logistics, and it represents the most important part of our business. From time to time, you may also leverage your skills to support other key parts of our business including Sales, Strategy, and Finance. Organization and follow-through are key to success.
Specifically, the job responsibilities include:
- Complete operational processes while identifying areas of opportunity, potential efficiencies, and the need for additional processes that will better support the success of the Operations team and the business as a whole
- Build thoughtful, streamlined processes, leveraging the expertise of various team members, and implement them in a way that ensures key operational tasks are consistently and thoroughly completed
- Support our safety programs, including analyzing our driver safety metrics, ensuring compliance with our safety policies, collecting information for our safety coaching conversations, and maintaining and updating our driver files to be current and audit-ready
- Assist with the implementation of driver technology, including monitoring usage of key tech tools, assisting drivers with getting our technology working on their devices, and researching new potential technology for our business
- Partner with the Director of Driver Operations & Safety to complete daily operational tasks, including driver communications, reviewing and updating our internal materials, and ensuring execution of our key Operations processes
- Prepare reports, presentations, documents, and materials for weekly and quarterly management meetings
- As requested and capacity permitting, support other teams with ad-hoc tasks that can benefit from your attention to detail and devotion to creating clean and efficient processes

What You Bring to the Table
- 3-6 years of professional work experience
- 2+ years of experience executing, managing, and creating operational processes
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in operations management, business administration, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Exceptional follow-through
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to work effectively both in a team and individually
