Job Overview
To support the growth of our Customer Success Group (CSG) division, we are seeking a Project Manager with a solid technical and consulting background. In this role, you will lead complex and challenging software implementations, ensuring customer satisfaction while strictly adhering to project roadmaps, quality standards, and budget goals. Reporting directly to the Project Delivery Director, you will manage all phases and resources across one or multiple vertical business units, from project planning to execution and closure. Your responsibilities will include risk management and mitigation planning, along with ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. This is a remote position, with occasional on-site requirements driven by customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Define the project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans and determine the necessary resources.
- Team Management: Assign tasks and responsibilities, monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and cultivate a positive team environment. Manage conflicts and resolve issues effectively.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations and requirements, ensuring clear and consistent communication among all team members.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies for mitigating them throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards. Conduct quality audits and reviews and implement continuous improvement processes.
- Project Closure: Conduct post-mortem meetings to capture lessons learned, finalize project contracts and deliverables, and archive all project documentation and artifacts.
- Customer Centricity: Collaborate effectively with Solutions Architects and other technical resources to understand customer needs and identify new business opportunities.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Over 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies in SaaS companies or system integrators.
- More than 4 years of proven experience as a consultant within software organizations.
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering complex international projects, leading cross-functional teams, and employing best practices, tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Atlassian, Azure, SAP ByD), and procedures (e.g., SecDevOps).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present project details to top management executives, both internally and externally.
- Experience in gathering customer requirements, prioritizing product backlogs, developing effort estimations/plans, and drafting Statements of Work.
- Preferred certifications: PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO, PMP, ITIL, PRINCE2.
- Prior experience in managing and delivering Field Service Management solutions in industries such as Energy, Utilities, Telecommunications, and Rail is an advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for business.
- Fluent in English.
