About Us
ERIS is a women-owned and -operated brewery and cider house found in Chicago’s Old Irving Park neighborhood. Our manufacturing facility and brewpub are housed in the same building, which was originally a Masonic temple. Established in 2018, we are focused on growing our name and reputation in Chicago and, eventually, beyond. About the Position
Eris content creator will play a pivotal role in growing our brand. We have aggressive growth goals, and the Content Creator will support them by making more people aware of, interested in, and drinking ERIS ciders — and expanding knowledge of cider, generally. This individual will support promoting our brewpub as both an inclusive destination and a welcoming daily gathering place.
The Content Creator will join our team at a key point in ERIS’s growth trajectory. They will work directly with our co-founders and General Manger to reach our collective dreams.
Daily responsibilities may include:
- Manage our social media accounts, including planning out content calendars, posting, and community engagement
- Manage our paid social and search campaigns, with an approach that combines creativity and data-backed results
- Manage email marketing needs including planning, briefing, campaign setup, management, analysis, and providing recommendations
- Manage or assist in managing digital and traditional marketing projects, including project management, coordinating and managing vendors and contractors, and more
- Work with co-founders to plan and execute product and market launches
- Setup and administer system to support distributor partners, including process for new offerings, managing inventory, and providing our partners with a convenient ordering process
- Manage marketing assets and files on company drive
- Manage all incoming marketing and media/PR leads/inquiries
- Lead the execution and management of other promotional efforts, sponsorships and events including experiential marketing, brand partnerships, and more
Other responsibilities include:
- Attending industry events, either on-site or in the market. Includes festivals, special off-premises tapping's, dinners, and on-premises tastings.
- Sales team ride-withs to understand how our products are positioned in the market.
- Compiling and creating marketing presentations deck including reporting on metrics, KPIs and more across various aspects of marketing and sales channels
- Analyzing and synthesizing various data to uncover actionable insights to drive campaign and/or program recommendations as well as evaluating performance
- Using sales data and other insights to help in further defining target market demographics, cohorts and personas across channels
- Work with leadership to plan events/participation in events related to women business owners, women in business, and women in the beverage industry.
- Aid in yearly (ABP) and other strategic marketing planning initiatives
- Help develop PR and communications strategy, both internal and external
- Special projects as assigned by leadership

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Passion for and, ideally, experience in the food & beverage industry
- Flexibility to shift priorities as needed in a growing organization that sits within an ever-changing industry
- Excellent communication and organizational/project management skills
- A self-starter that knows how to execute
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe products
- Experience setting up and executing organic accounts and paid social media campaigns
- Experience with email marketing tools, including creating campaigns, measuring their success, and optimizing for improved results
- Familiarity with basic website content updates (Squarespace experience is ideal) or willingness to learn
- Experience with Google Analytics and/or Google Ads a plus
- Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends to support ERIS at on-site and industry events
- Willingness to travel on occasion if needed (less than 10% of the time)
Compensation and Benefits
- $20-25 dollars and hour based on experience
- On-site food & drink stipend
