Comfort Keepers is seeking a highly experienced Caregiver to join our team as a Sr. CK. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional ready to take the next step in their caregiving career by stepping into a leadership role.
Job Summary:
As a Sr. CK, you will work under the general supervision of the Client Care Manager to ensure continuity of care for our clients. This role not only involves providing top-notch in-home care but also supervising and supporting our caregiving team.
Essential Functions:
- Client Introductions: Visit clients to introduce new caregivers or cover shifts as needed.
- Client Monitoring: Regularly visit clients to stay updated on their condition and environment.
- Caregiver Supervision: Oversee caregivers, providing guidance and completing performance appraisals at designated intervals.
- Client & Caregiver Follow-up: Maintain regular contact with clients and caregivers to ensure service satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Liaison Role: Act as a key communication link between the client, caregiver, scheduler, and human resources coordinator.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Experience: Minimum of two years in a healthcare setting, with preferred experience in coordinating healthcare services.
- Professionalism: Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and maintain a positive, professional image.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Flexibility: Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and administrative tasks.
- Experience: Previous experience in hospice care and administrative roles is preferred.
- Dependability: Reliable and dependable with strong time management skills.
- Professionalism: Uphold a professional demeanor with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-Oriented: Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-Starter: Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Client Management: Assist with intakes, assess/reassess clients as needed, and monitor the safety of clients and caregivers.
- Sales Experience: A plus if you have experience in signing on new clients.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and be open to travel.
