We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team! This junior-level role involves both strategic and hands-on responsibilities. If you have a talent for crafting engaging social media campaigns and wish to make a significant impact for clients across various industries, this opportunity is for you. The Social Media Coordinator will play a crucial role in developing and implementing social media strategies, optimizing content, and expanding audiences. You will collaborate closely with our Marketing Team to ensure a top-tier social media presence for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in creating and maintaining an engaging brand presence across social media platforms through creative content and active audience engagement.
- Write captivating social media copy and develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Manage clients’ social media accounts, from proactive content creation to reactive community management and growth.
- Support our own social media channels, using brand guidelines to enhance our profile within various tech and PR communities.
- Measure, analyze, and report on the success of social media initiatives, identifying trends and insights for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and PR teams by providing research and insights that inform strategy briefs and new business proposals.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging platforms, and social media best practices.
- Participate in new business pitches, representing the social media team and advising on appropriate strategies for prospective clients.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience managing social media in an agency or brand environment.
- Familiarity with managing major social platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram), including best practices, user behavior trends, and paid campaigns.
- Ability to align social media with broader marketing and communication strategies.
- Strong understanding of social listening tools and deriving actionable insights from them.
- Willingness to learn new skills and engage in projects like paid social, influencer marketing, and conducting social audits for B2B clients.
- Experience with social media analytics, including how to interpret and simplify results for clients.
- Knowledge of the rules of engagement for brands and advertisers on social platforms.
- A collaborative mindset with a strong ability to support teams and receive feedback.
- Clear communication skills, including the ability to keep team leads updated on your work.
- Confidence in explaining social media concepts to those unfamiliar with the field.
- Understanding of the PESO model and SEO basics.
- Strong critical thinking and multitasking abilities, ensuring smooth execution across various responsibilities.
Salary Range
We believe in fair and transparent compensation. While final compensation for this role will be based on your education, relevant experience, and location, here are some location-based salary ranges:
- New York (State): \(43,088 - \)57,702
- New York City: \(57,702 - \)64,868
- California (State): \(41,220 - \)48,000
- Washington (State): \(42,313 - \)48,000
If your state isn't listed, salary discussions will take place during the recruitment process.
Work Arrangement
This role offers flexibility, allowing for remote work across the United States or a hybrid schedule if you're near our hubs in San Francisco, Salt Lake City, or New York City. We are open to candidates from the following states: AL, CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, NJ, NM, NY, OR, TX, UT, VA, and WA.
