Insight Global is seeking an O365 System Engineer for one of our clients in the education management industry. Our client is a growing leader in the education space, operating schools and educational programs around the world that span the life cycle of a student from early learning to higher education. You will be joining a team of about seven system engineers and administrators and will be supporting upwards of 70,000+ end users.
We are seeking a passionate system engineer who has the ability to work across multiple verticals with a specialty in Windows. In this role we are looking for someone who has experience with the entire O365 suite, specifically with Intune, Exchange, SharePoint and Teams. You will have the opportunity to improve everyday business process, automate manual tasks by proposing innovative solutions to modernize our approach in areas covering account creation. You will also be instrumental in implementing and supporting account creation, Intune, MFA, Cloud Application Security and Defender Endpoint.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Account creation, automation, and support for Windows, and Azure AD enterprise and education environments.
- Support and implementation of Windows engineering items to include Intune, MFA, DLP, Cloud App Security, Defender ATP and Defender Endpoint.
- Support large environments with a focus on automation and software patching while assessing the stability, security and scalability of our Windows and Google platforms. Our client supports around 10,000+ staff and around 70,000 students.
- Build strategic relationships with internal counterparts, external vendors and hold them accountable for delivery.
- Implement and support required logging, alerting, monitoring tools to ensure there is insight to platform uptime and performance.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer
- Experience with Microsoft
- In depth experience supporting Intune, Exchange, SharePoint and Azure AD
- Experience supporting an environment with 1,000+ end users
Plusses:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field
- Experience with Identity and Access Management
- Experience working on and through multiple migrations
