What You’ll Do:
We have an exciting new role of a Product & Data Analyst who’ll work across disciplines and with the company leadership to help us streamline our data management and product development processes.
Implementation
- Validate that all data has loaded successfully into our environment by checking against reports from the source system(s) and check that the on-the-books data is updating correctly on a daily basis. Based on findings, work with the Implementation Manager to ensure that data gaps are identified and filled
- Once data has been loaded into our application check the data hierarchies (market segments, booking channels, room types etc.) to ensure that all unclassified codes are reviewed with the customer and appropriately mapped
- Collaborate with the Implementation Manager to prepare a hand-off report for the Customer Success team which would include the latest data validation, data quality review, and any notes/feedback from the customer
Customer Support
- In case of data issues reported by existing customers, validate, research, and document potential causes of the data issues
- Provide regular communication and updates to customers on data issues reported by them
- Collaborate with Customer Success to provide guidance and assistance to customers in updating and optimizing their data standards and processes as needed
Product Development
- Based on interactions with customers, document customer requirements and user stories to be reviewed with COO as part of product planning
- Create test cases and validate new data sources and reports/analytics being developed
- Assist in preparing release notes and related documentation prior to a new release
Your Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience in a similar role… You know that every bit you do makes a real difference in making a customer happy
- Must be comfortable working with data
- Strong Excel skills
- SQL preferred but not required
- Education or experience in the Hotel Industry
- Experience in Revenue Management and working knowledge/experience using a Property Management System is a strong asset
- Prior experience working with a technology vendor would be preferred
- Know when something is over your head and aren’t afraid to ask for help
- Skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly
- Exhibit diplomacy and poise under pressure when working through customer issues
- Speak and write English confidently
- A post-secondary degree or equivalent professional experience
- You are a self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas
Your Location
