Position Overview: As a Bright Beauty Collective Account Coordinator, you play a pivotal role in driving in store sales. You are responsible not only for driving sales in your region yourself but also recruiting and coaching additional artistry contractors, scheduling in-store support, building strong relationships with retailer management and developing a calendar of homegrown events to build brand awareness while reaching growth
targets. You will work closely with the National Account Manager and VP of Sales to ensure
market alignment with national strategies and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Field Work and Relationship Building:
- Spend the majority of the week in the field (3-4 days per week), cultivating and nurturing relationships with in-store management and staff.
- Act as the primary point of contact for in-store queries and support, effectively representing the brand and driving towards sales goals.
2. Coaching and Training:
- Mentor and coach artistry contractors in your market, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet sales goals and uphold the brand's values.
- Support Market Trainers in achieving sales targets by providing hands-on assistance, conducting product demonstrations, and implementing promotional activities.
3. Scheduling and Coordination:
- Manage and schedule in-store support, ensuring optimal coverage and presence in key retail locations during peak times within your region.
- Recruit and fill necessary open positions in your market
4. Feedback and Reporting:
- Gather and relay market feedback, customer insights, and sales performance data to National Account Managers, contributing to informed decision-making.
- Prepare regular reports and nightly recaps on regional sales and market trends, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
5. Home Office Day:
- Utilize one day per week in your home office for administrative tasks, strategic planning, and communication with the National Account Manager and other team members.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Market Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed sales goals set for the region in terms of sales volume and billed hours.
- Market Trainer Performance: Drive improvement in sales and performance metrics of Market Trainers under your guidance (region SPH).
- In-Store Presence: Effectively schedule to ensure brand presence and visibility in key retail locations, negotiating for better brand placement and maximizing exposure during events.
- Relationship Quality: Garner positive feedback from in-store management and staff on support and collaboration.
- Reporting Accuracy: Ensure timeliness and accuracy of sales and market reports submitted to National Account Manager
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, brand management, or retail management. (preferably in bluemercury, Credo Beauty, Nordstrom, Sephora or Ulta)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging audiences from stockrooms all the way to boardrooms
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Passion for the beauty industry and commitment to driving results.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual Base Salary: $70,000-$73,000 + seasonal bonus up to 10%
- Unlimited PTO
