We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity. You will handle network design, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting to support our daily operations and long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Implementation: Plan, configure, and deploy network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance, availability, and security using various tools and techniques.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure smooth network operations.
- Security Management: Implement and manage network security protocols and measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Configuration Management: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, topology, and IP addressing schemes.
- Network Upgrades: Plan and execute network upgrades, patches, and enhancements to keep systems current and efficient.
- Support: Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding network-related issues and connectivity problems.
- Compliance: Ensure network operations comply with organizational policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Network Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role with hands-on experience in network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
Skills:
- Proficiency in network hardware and software (routers, switches, fortinet firewalls, etc.).
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Knowledge of network security practices and principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
