Aspirion helps hospitals and healthcare systems minimize patient burden by maximizing reimbursement from insurance companies. Infinia ML has developed a versatile and standardized platform for processing written content in documents, such as medical records, insurance claims, correspondence and more leveraging the power of ML, including LLMs. We are seeking a User Researcher to join our Product team and help support the delivery of AI-enabled solutions to transform our business.
Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Product, the User Researcher will play a crucial role in understanding our users’ behaviors, needs, and motivations. Your insights will guide the development of intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences across our platforms. A successful candidate will have experience developing and executing thoughtful research plans as well as excel at communicating findings and recommendations with a cross-functional team. They will leverage a range of studies to gather critical insights throughout the product development process and track the behaviors, needs and challenges of users in addition to impact.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end user research projects, from defining research objectives to delivering actionable insights
- Plan and conduct user research studies using qualitative and quantitative methods such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, and analytics data analysis
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to identify research objectives, develop research strategies, and integrate user research into product requirements and design ideation
- Synthesize research findings into meaningful insights, personas, user journey maps, and actionable recommendations
- Communicate research results to cross-functional teams and stakeholders in clear and compelling ways to effectively communicate user insights and drive decision-making
- Continuously monitor and analyze user feedback and behavior data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in user research and UX design
Qualifications (minimum):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience in user research, UX research, or a related field, ideally supporting products with an AI/ML focus or components
- Proficiency in a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods, with the ability to choose the right methods for each project
- Self-starter with an ownership mindset and comfortable with a high degree of autonomy
- Functional knowledge of product analytics, including tracking product adoption metrics and analyzing usage patterns to generate insights
- You are empathetic, an active listener, and value building collaborative and sustainable relationships with end users and stakeholders
- Experience with usability testing tools, survey tools, and analytics platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn research findings into business insights and strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- A portfolio of past research work demonstrating your process, impact on product and design decisions
Qualifications (preferred):
- Experience operating within complex regulatory and/or policy environments
- Working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management, either on the payer or provider side
- Preference will be given to candidates local to the Raleigh-Durham, NC area
