My client's CPA firm located in San Diego (Scripps Ranch) is seeking a professional and dependable administrative assistant/receptionist. You need to be organized, reliable and self-motivated. The candidate must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word. The qualified candidate will answer phones, schedule appointments, assemble tax packages/returns, track/order supplies and support the office staff.
Responsibilities include:
• Meet & greet clients
• Answering/directing multiple phone lines
• Scheduling appointments
• Process incoming/outgoing mail & packages
• Assembly/mailing of client tax returns
• Data entry into QuickBooks
• Filing/Scanning of documents
• Tracking and ordering of supplies
• Assist office staff with various projects as required
Required Skills:
• Minimum of 1 year clerical experience
• Great personality with clients in person or by phone
• Proficient computer skills in Word & Excel, ability to type at least 50 WPM
• Dependability and reliability is a must
• Familiarity with office equipment (inc’l scanner, printer, copier & fax)
• Able to multi-task and have time management capabilities
• Handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Be detail oriented and have organizational skills
• Have positive/mature attitude and be a team player
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus
Position Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:30 to 5:30
Pay is $20-$25/hr DOE
