We are seeking a Head of Operations with significant experience to oversee our complex operations and guide our team as we continue to scale.
Position Overview:
The Head of Operations will oversee and refine all aspects of Lola Blankets' operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and scalable processes across supply chain, logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment. This individual will lead the operations team, and work closely with senior leadership to align operational goals with the company’s strategic vision. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing complex operations, with a proven ability to streamline processes and implement systems that support rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operational processes, including supply chain, logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment, ensuring efficiency and scalability
- Lead the operations team, providing mentorship and direct oversight to the Operations Manager and other key staff
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with Lola’s growth objectives
- Identify areas for operational improvements and implement best practices to optimize performance and reduce costs
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating terms and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products
- Develop and maintain key performance metrics to measure operational efficiency and inform decision-making
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies across all operational activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in operations management, with demonstrated success in scaling and optimizing complex operations
- Ideally has experience working in startup environments and/or retail
- Proven experience managing supply chain, logistics, and inventory processes within a high-growth organization
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring and managing teams
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to oversee multiple operational areas simultaneously
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to implement and analyze KPIs for continuous improvement
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Experience with ERP systems and other operational software
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
