Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Associate Project Manager.
In this role, the successful project manager / business analyst will manage and deliver complex enterprise projects and ensure they are delivered on time, on budget, and of quality. He/she is a seasoned professional providing advanced expertise in a complex professional discipline. Responsible for overall documentation and analysis of the business needs and requirements, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts. Responsible for risk identification, mitigation and escalation through proper channels. Functions independently with limited work direction. Work is reviewed periodically and on an exception basis.
Job Responsibilities
- 1. Uses project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- 12. Maintains an open dialogue with Delivery Lead on product delivery timelines and risks, supporting the escalation and mitigation process
- 11. Supports the planning and execution of product delivery, particularly at the intersection with operational training, readiness, adoption, and support groups
- 10. Supports the Experience lead in delivery of weekly status report, including aggregation of accomplishments, risks, and Experience metrics
- 9. Manages action items and tracking risks from Strategic Experience leadership and stakeholders, supporting the MCIT Delivery Lead through delivery and mitigation
- 8. Supports the MCIT Experience Lead in engaging with their business partners and stakeholders, and preparing for executive level communications and updates
- 7. Facilitates development of analytics to measure Experience Success Metrics with guidance from Experience Leads, Operational/Business Leads, Product Managers and MCIT teams
- 6. Documents high-level functional requirements for an offering to help the stakeholders, product managers, and delivery teams understand the desired future state experience/offering
- 5. Maintains documentation of the Experience Journey, ensuring they are accurate as products evolve and timing or priority decisions are made
- 4. Documents and maintains Experience Objectives and Experience Delivery Roadmap
- 3. Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.
- 2. Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify you must have a BA/BS with 5-7 years of experience
PMP / CBAP Certifications preferred
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively with senior executives
Able to deliver engaging, well-organized presentations
Ability to work effectively with ambiguity
Ability to lead and motivate
Understanding in the areas of application requirements, design, development and testing.
Preferred Licenses: Project Mgmt Prof

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $106,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
