Job Overview
We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our esteemed team, providing remote therapy services to a student located in Centereach, NY. This part-time opportunity offers a flexible schedule, with sessions scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct personalized, one-on-one speech therapy sessions in a virtual format, addressing the unique communication needs of the assigned student.
- Provide therapy three times a week, with each session lasting one hour.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, monitor progress, and document outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate closely with the student's parents or guardians, providing updates on progress, discussing goals, and offering additional support as necessary.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in using virtual communication platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage remote therapy sessions.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining documentation and reporting.
Qualifications
- A valid New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in delivering speech therapy, particularly in a remote setting, is preferred.
