SEO Specialist Position Overview:
As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing 23 unique partner groups’ online presence to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance user engagement. You will be working closely with our SEO Manager to ensure the digital footprint of our 23 partner groups remains competitive and relevant within the marketplace. Your expertise will help us reach more patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring our content is easily discoverable.
SEO Specialist Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization and expansion.
- Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
- Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, URLs, on-page content, internal linking structures, to improve search engine rankings.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools such as SEM Rush, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
- Assist in managing local SEO efforts, including Google My Business optimization.
- Perform technical SEO audits and implement necessary fixes to ensure optimal website performance and indexability.
- Collaborate with the SEO manager and partnering clinics to develop SEO-friendly content that meets user needs.
- Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and drive qualified traffic to partners’ websites.
- Stay updated on industry trends, search engine algorithms, and best practices in SEO, particularly in healthcare.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of monthly SEO performance reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the development team and the SEO Manager to implement technical SEO enhancements, such as site speed optimization and mobile responsiveness.
What we're looking for in the SEO Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 2 years of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Crazy Egg or similar.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Solid knowledge of on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with website analytics and performance tracking.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, WIX, Squarespace, etc.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website optimization best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
