Job: Experienced Office Manager / Operations Manager.
Office is based in Fulham. You must be able to get into Fulham. Free parking or tube on the doorstep.
Start: You must be immediately available to interview and start this week or Monday.
The ideal person will start as 5 days in office to get a real feel for things, then happy to go hybrid after a few weeks or month
This is a temp to perm role. start initially as temp for 6 months, then you can apply/ move to perm if you like it.
Responsible for managing the day to day office and operations in the business. Overseeing outsourced IT, Human Resources, Payroll, Reception, Facilities and Risk and Compliance, working with Property Services to ensure smooth operations.
A thick skin is essential here and you must be used to handling tricky personalities. Its professional, but will be dealing with some teams members not in an office (trades men, facilities, tenants). Someone who is mature, firm, fair, and unflappable is ideal!

As mentioned this company is a SME and want a proven candidate who has been a strong office manager or operations manager profile who can take ownership of all aspects of the business and report into a director. You would be able to make decisions and have a proven track record ideally in a SME.
Location: Fulham. Hybrid 3 days in office (for first month or two, be in 5 days to ensure all you can see environment and make impact.
Company: A SME housing provider. well established business
Duration: initially 6 months temp. This can be a contract, or go temp to perm.
Hours: 35 hours per week, 9am-5pm
Salary: A salary of £45k - £50k is available.
The ideal person would have previously owned HR, helped with payroll, Admin, Reception, IT, daily office compliance, PA duties for director as needed (arranging meetings in diaries etc)
All these teams have structure, but need someone with oversight to make decision and ensure things run smooth. There are systems currently being implemented by internal consultants so loads of projects to be involved in too.
You will also be advising on the recruitment, management and development of staff, in conjunction with identifying opportunities for growth and development of services.
Responsible for creating process maps and ensuring policies and procedures are updated
and implemented.
