We are in search of a Billing Clerk to join our team based in North Lauderdale, Florida. This role primarily revolves around the financial and customer service aspects of the business, with responsibilities including processing payments, maintaining customer records, and handling customer inquiries. This position is a short term contract employment opportunity within a business casual work setting.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently process customer payments and credit applications, utilizing various accounting software systems.
- Maintain and update customer credit records, ensuring accuracy at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inbound calls and emails, addressing customer inquiries about their accounts and billing.
- Facilitate the opening and closing of customer accounts.
- Handle and process customer documents with absolute attention to detail.
- Employ accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Utilize software like ADP - Financial Services, EHR SYSTEM, Epic Software, and About Time in daily operations.
- Engage with customers face-to-face, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Maintain a high level of organization and detail-orientation in all tasks.
