Duties
- You will lead the project team efforts supporting NAVSEA's Antiterrorism Afloat Equipage project, including the total lifecycle support of Personal Protective Equipment.
- You will manage the planning, execution, monitoring, and control of tasking to achieve objectives for cost, schedule, and performance, to include financial tracking/reporting, risk/schedule management, and implementation of corrective actions.
- You will manage the planning and negotiation of fiscal year tasking with NAVSEA and other sponsors.
- You will manage projects requiring knowledge and experience in a relevant technical or nontechnical discipline, e.g., textiles/clothing, engineering, mathematics, science, project management, business, economics, finance, or development/planning.
- You will lead project efforts in working with other departments within NSWC PCD towards procurement of large value material contracts.
- You will lead the project efforts to meet the reporting requirements for operations.
- You will communicate effectively both orally and in writing at all levels of the organization including senior leadership.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
FOR NT-05 (GS-14/15 equivalent); Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical support in the development, planning, execution, and monitoring of administrative and business practices to Navy personal protective equipment, Navy diving or Navy diving systems.

SALARY CAP: The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high-grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435).
This position is
subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
