Job: Receptionist and Office Administrator (start this Friday or Monday 30th Sept)
Location is Fulham (by tube station). you must be in office!!!
This is a lovely Housing and Building Company who have tenants on social housing (charity)
Hours: 35 hours per week, 9am-5pm (may consider 9am-4pm but full time better)
Salary: A salary of £28-£32k is on offer (on an hourly rate paye paid weekly)
Duration: initially 6-9 months temp and can go perm
The ideal person would be a mature/ experienced office admin or receptionist who wants a rewarding job meeting people as they come in. As its within building and housing charity you will need a thick skin and be able to handle a range of people.
Most are lovely, some of the tenants may need someone nice to talk to, or someone might be frustrated and irate with a building contract so a calming influence is needed.
When your not on reception, they have some admin, HR duties, and basic finance stuff to get involved with. Its a 50/50 split of reception and admin.
Reception duties
- taking payments on chip and pin machine
- recording transactions on systems and logging visits for compliance
- general office admin work
- answering phone calls
- responding to email inbox
- Assisting with HR admin as needed
- Assisting with finance data entry as needed
Start: You must be immediately available to interview and start this Friday or Monday
This is an ongoing contact temp role for the next 6-9 months and can go perm in future all being well. We need someone who is happy being a temp and on a nice long contract doing 9am-5pm.
