Kitchell seeks an experienced and dedicated
Office Administrator to join our Sacramento office and build a long-term career at one of the most innovative and growth-oriented Construction Services companies in the United States.
Overview
The Office Administrator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Sacramento, California office, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. This role supports staff, handles office logistics, and coordinates with vendors to maintain the office's operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage client visits and maintain the iPad system for office access.
- Send out office-wide communications, including updates from the property manager and other important notices.
- Manage the key card system, prepare name tags and cubicles for new hires, and oversee business card ordering.
- Set up, take down, and clean conference rooms before and after meetings.
- Order and stock office, conference room, kitchen, and production room supplies.
- Keep the production room tidy, including stocking copier paper and daily cleaning.
- Stock kitchen supplies, run the dishwasher, maintain cleanliness, and manage the coffee machine, including daily cleaning and restocking.
- Order and maintain stock within the Kitchell Korner for adult beverages and keep the area tidy.
- Ensure overall office cleanliness, manage yearly carpet cleaning, and bi-annual inside window cleaning.
- Arrange lunches and support all office meetings.
- Purchase weekly office milk and supplies for Wednesday Fruit Day.
- Manage repairs such as broken blinds and coordinate with the plant vendor for plant maintenance and replacements.
- Work closely with the property manager, Cintas representative, and coffee machine vendor for ongoing office needs.
- Handle all incoming deliveries, retrieve and distribute mail, manage the stamp machine, and coordinate FedEx and GLS services for office staff.
- Ensure bathrooms are stocked with toiletries and maintained regularly.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in office management.
Knowledge And Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with office equipment and basic maintenance procedures.
- Experience coordinating with vendors and managing supplies.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.

Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a general, climate controlled, office environment.
Travel Requirement
- Limited to no travel will be required for this position.
- Valid Motor Vehicle Record with no restrictions or suspensions.
- Ability to drive a motorized vehicle.

The hourly range for this role is currently $28.00 - $31.25 per hour. The Company’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of various factors, including job-related skills, relevant education and experience, abilities of the applicant and equity with other team members. The annual base salary range listed here is subject to change at any time, in the Company’s discretion, and does not alter in any way the at-will nature of the employment relationship.
