we're a small team (literally two of us) looking for a talented marketing intern to boost our social media presence :) SHELF GROUP, LLC. is a software and web development company founded in feb '24; we create innovative technology solutions to simplify and enhance the quality of life for our users. our mission is to empower individuals through intuitive, purpose-driven software, with a focus on streamlining everyday processes and niche discoveries.
the two products you will be in charge of producing content for are below; both are operated under our holding name "SHELF GROUP", a derived label from the larger product we will be releasing later this year - "shelf" - which is a lightweight social book tracking app. more details to come on this, and feel free to stay curious on it, but for now the only public assets related to it are the waitlist at https://betterbookapp.com.
book assistant (https://bookassist.app):
a book interactivity progressive web app allowing users to have conversations with detailed literature data; upload a book (any piece of literature matching the file requirements) yourself, or use one of the many free / public books we have loaded in. ask about character development, plot changes, hypotheticals - anything you'd like. it's pretty sweet
cal assist (https://calassist.app):
a calendar assistant progressive web app connected to the user's google calendar(s), allowing them to interact with them using natural language, images, and voice input. tailor the experience for what you value with our model selection, and enable web search to get events like the next NFL game you're interested in added to your calendar in seconds. makes staying organized significantly easier and more fun
what you'll be doing:
• creating and posting daily content on instagram, facebook, twitter, tiktok, and linkedin
• managing two accounts on each platform
• developing at least 3 different types of posts every day (can re-use across socials when sensible to do-so)
• responding to comments, feedback, and questions from our audience
• organizing and launching ad campaigns (co-founder(s) will be involved with this part for funding)
what we're looking for:
• strong social media skills across multiple platforms
• creativity and ability to produce varied content
• excellent multitasking and time management skills
• good communication skills for audience engagement
• interest in startups and growth marketing
the details:
• 15 hours per week for 2 months (8 weeks)
• remote work, no need to relocate. timezone is not of concern within the US.
• $1500 base payment + profit sharing payout. $1500 base will be paid in increments of $187.50 weekly across an 8-week timeframe (profit sharing will be discussed in interview)
